Refund & Order Policy

At Hatchet Peak Ranch, everything we raise is done with intention, rooted in care for the land and the animals. We want your experience ordering from us to reflect that same integrity. Please read this policy before placing your order so we're on the same page.

Frozen Beef & Meat Products

Our Commitment to Quality

Every cut we ship is vacuum-sealed and flash-frozen at the time of processing. We pack each order with gel ice packs and insulated materials designed to keep your beef frozen during transit. We ship Monday and Tuesday only — this ensures your order does not sit in a carrier facility over a weekend.

No Returns on Perishable Products

Due to the nature of frozen and perishable food products, we are unable to accept returns. This is standard food safety practice and protects the integrity of what you're eating.

Damaged, Thawed, or Compromised Orders

We stand behind every order we ship. If your beef arrives thawed, damaged, or in a condition you're not satisfied with, here's what to do:

– Photograph the package and contents immediately upon opening

– Check the internal temperature — beef should arrive at or below 40°F

– Email us at info@hatchetpeak.com within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and photos

We will review your claim and offer a replacement shipment or store credit at our discretion. Claims submitted after 24 hours of delivery cannot be honored, as we are unable to verify the product’s condition after that window.

Carrier Delays

Hatchet Peak Ranch is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS). If a delay occurs and your product is affected, please contact us and we will do our best to work with you. We recommend ensuring someone is available to receive your order on the estimated delivery date and that it is placed in the freezer promptly.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund if the request is made within 24 hours of purchase and the order has not yet been packed or shipped. If the order has been shipped within the 24 hr window, it cannot be cancelled. To cancel, email us immediately at info@hatchetpeak.com with your order number.

General Policy

Processing Time For Shipments Placed Online ( excludes local pickup/ local route)

Orders typically ship within 2-5 business days of purchase. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order is on its way.

Incorrect Address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Hatchet Peak Ranch is not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If your order is returned to us due to an address error, we will contact you and may require an additional shipping fee to resend.
